| Refer a child or a young person (CYP) |
Applying for a CCHF Activity and Respite Camp is very straight forward and can be done by anyone working with a child/young person or family such as teachers, social workers, youth workers, Community Groups etc and a parent or carer themselves. CCHF has a number of multi activity camps available at our our Residential Centre in West Sussex. Please see our Our Camps page for more information or contact the Children's Team direclty on 01273 847 771 to discuss activites in 2008. .
Organisations can refer individual CYP to CCHF breaks or book an entire weekend break for CYP they are involved with. To become a referring organisation please contact the CCHF Referral Liaison Coordinator directly on 01273 847768. We are dedicated to providing quality breaks for your CYP, in safe and encouraging environments. All our staff and volunteers are highly trained and experienced, and have had the necessary Child Protection checks. General Policy Rules
CCHF reserves the right to refuse a CYP a break. When this occurs CCHF will liaise with and explain the decision to all concerned including the CYP, family and any professionals involved with the CYP/family. The individual CYP and their parent(s) or carers must agree to the CCHF conditions.
CYP Breaks
CCHF provides activity and respite breaks for CYPs either for weekends or five nights. The breaks take place at the CCHF Residential Centre in West Sussex.
Eligibility Criteria
• CYP aged 6-16 years
• Family are on a low income.
• Have no chance of any other break except those provided by CCHF. |
