Our Camps

Situated in the West Sussex countryside, CCHF’s residential centre offers a safe environment in which CYP are offered a challenging activity programme. Each activity has been developed by CCHF in conjunction with referrers, volunteers and CYP themselves in order to meet their often complex and wide-ranging needs.

With the emphasis being on outdoors and physical activity, the programme includes abseiling, kayaking, canoeing, horse-riding, rock-climbing and swimming. Orienteering, camping, and map reading and countryside walks are designed to increase the CYP environmental awareness. Team-building activities, such as sports, team games and performing arts help them to improve their skills in communication, relationship-building and leadership. Additionally, Life Skills helps young people with conflict resolution, to increase their emotional awareness and building their self-esteem.

We are dedicated to providing quality breaks for your child, in safe and encouraging environments. All our staff and volunteers are highly trained and experienced, and have had the necessary Child Protection checks. For further information on our 2008 Camps, please email Julie in The Children's Team or call them on 01273 847 771.
